GLG's primary goal is to improve admissions competitiveness for majors in science, engineering, mathematics, medicine, and business administration.

The GLG Association's secondary goal is to improve the ability of parents to interact productively with representatives, staff, and teachers within schools and districts attended by their children.

GLG aims to communicate and promote African-American educational issues at the federal, state, and local levels of Government and gain cooperation and commitment from public and private representatives to solicit participation and support for programs implemented in the Inland Empire region of Southern California.

GLG seeks to insure full and equitable participation in our region’s educational activities at all levels, therefore helping to eliminate the equity gap that exists on several levels in the African-American student experience.
